The Verona Rescue Squad Fund Drive started on March 1, 2009 Every business and residence in Verona should have received our appeal letter. On September 8, 2009 we will be mailing our THIRD and final 2009 appeal letter to all those we have not heard from.
The Verona Rescue Squad is a total VOLUNTEER organization which depends on the support of the residents and businesses in Verona to support our operation.
In 2008 we responded to 1388 calls. Your donations help us to maintain and update our equipment, provide training to our members, maintain our building and purchase first aid supplies. While we provide our services for free we do have expenses to cover. All we ask is 10 cents per day from each business and residence to help us support our operation.
We ask that EVERY resident and business support the squad by contributing to our annual fund drive. In 2008 les than 50% of the community supported our fund drive. We are hoping to improve on that number this year. We have set a goal of 50%. PLEASE HELP US REACH OUR GOAL.
