In September of 2001 The Verona Rescue Squad took delivery of our 2001 Chevy Tahoe Command Vehicle. The vehicle, while set up and equipped to be a command post also has the capability to transport a backboarded patient should the need arise. The main concern of the squad when building this vehicle was our difficulties in recent years in reaching patients during a snowstorm with our modular ambulance. This vehicle will allow us quicker access to patients during snowy weather.
